We design custom web sites and web applications, we write and implement a variety of web softwares, and we provide user experience considerations that make your site effective. Consulting & Strategy

We love to be challenged. If you have a problem, we sure would love to take a crack at it. Before you release an RFP or hire a development partner, it helps to have a good understanding of what it is you need to achieve. For nearly all of our projects, dynamIt first develops a web strategy and offers recommendations for your approach to web that are in tune with the latest trends.

Web Engineering

Imagine you're building a custom home. You can't just say "I want a house, how much does it cost?" ... and then build it. Rather, you think critically about what you want, you develop a detailed plan or blueprint, consider budgets and go from there. dynamIt takes a similar approach to web. This is what we mean when we talk about web engineering. It is more than simply design, it is more than just programming - web engineering is taking the concepts and goals of the project and organizing them into software modules, then, creating an interface that is usable, all before a single line of code is written.

Web Design

Fresh, inventive, and functional. Design in web is a complicated little puzzle.

First and foremost, our client's organization is identified as we analyze their audience, web goals, and existing brand. Then, we take to brush and canvas, er, uh, mouse and screen to lay a graphical foundation for the site. Using industry standard tools our designers generate art, incorporate photography as needed and even illustrate certain elements by hand. All the while our medium is considered.

Web Development

We are programmers, we write lines and lines of code. Web programming comes in many forms, but some form or another is necessary for your site look and function properly.

XHTML and CSS, also called "markup", are the standard languages that all web browsers understand. This isn't 'Nam, this is web, there are rules, and dynamIt markup adheres to these rule, the web standards set forth by the W3C.

For interactive web applications we must use server programming to interact with a web database. To this end, we Love LAMP. No, we are not just looking around the room and saying that we love things, all web applications that we develop are deployed on servers running Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. This is the most common solution of the Open Source community, of which we are proud to be a part.
