In an industry that is often over-technical and shrouded in computer geek mysticism, we believe in being helpful and friendly when it comes to web. Our knowledge and attention to detail will be evident in our work, but we are convinced that a conversational approach will better help us deliver your message and meet your web goals. We pride ourselves on being transparent, honest, and relationship driven. Our rapport with our clients is our greatest asset. We are the firm that you can grab a beer with. And, as much as it pains us, we sometimes sacrifice perfect grammar for a more approachable phraseology.

Intelligent web is appropriate for the situation. We pride ourselves in our analysis and subsequently, candid communication of what we feel is an appropriate solution for our client. Intelligence in web is being proper. There are web standards which we follow and while cutting corners may reduce costs and perhaps shorten development time, it always detracts from quality and ultimately hurts the product. Intelligent web understands that proper execution in strategy, design and programming means usability and sustainability.

Efficient is often construed as: cheap, barebones, stingy enough. Efficient web does not follow in any of these lines of thinking. Efficient web is first seen in our programming as we attempt to use the most elegant logic all the while keeping our code well documented and modular for maintainability. The dynamIt web process exudes efficiency as well. By front-loading planning and establishing client interaction at every step, that time is not wasted traveling too far down wrong paths. We take the initiative and consider it our responsibility to drive the project to completion quickly, but with QA in mind. Isn't that efficient? Lean but Effective.

Information architecture means brainstorming, sketching, modeling, charting, analyzing, or simply thinking about the problem. Based on the project, deliverables may include feature sets, function maps, user flows, task lists, wire frames, page/view listings, and database schema. We take this phase very seriously as it guides all future design and development.

Our artists, using hand-drawn pieces, computer-generated art and premium quality photography, create a graphic design layout which serves as the 'design shell' for the site. These designs are created through a drafting process whereby the artist designs a page or mockups a concept which is then submitted to the client for review. The client is given discretion for changes, tweaks, ideas, and the like. Then, the artist goes back and work with these changes and presents a new iteration.

For web applications in which end-users will interact with the site at a high level, we must design a user interface. The user interface decides what a user needs to do to preform a certain task on the site. dynamIt takes great care during this step as the quality of a web application relies heavily on how intuitive it is for its users. In User Experience Design, the functionality of the application is mocked up, and compiled into a book which is delivered to the client with every page of the website, complete with annotations. This book has come to be known as the trademark of a dynamIt-designed system and is truly the pride our process. Before code is ever generated, the client knows just what (s)he's getting.

This is where we build your website for use on the web. It is the execution of the planning described in the previous phases. It is the implementation of the functionality as prescribed by the Information Architecture and/or the User Experience Design. For this stage we take to actual writing some code. Once the website has completed development it is nearly ready to launch. This is the phase in which the client is invited to take a critical eye to the execution of the processes created for him or her. Prior to this stage the client will be presented with a testing report carried out by dynamIt in QA. The client is strongly encouraged to test all these cases and any more they find for functionality. As much as we try to be perfect, there will likely be some bugs. Bugs identified during UAT will be fixed within scope. At the close of the User Acceptance Testing, the project is completed and the site is launched.
